Student Representative - Dusan Licina



Dusan Licina (1986) received a Master of Mechanical Engineering from University of Belgrade in 2010. In 2011, he commenced doctoral studies under a joined PhD program between National University of Singapore (Department of Building) and Technical University of Denmark (ICIEE). His research involves studying the airflow characteristics around the human body and its impact on the contaminant transport. Dusan’s work contributes to a better understanding how room air distribution affects airborne pathogen transmission and how to be optimally designed in order to decrease the risk of human exposure. Research on this topic resulted in several peer-reviewed publications and awards. In parallel, he is involved in teaching duties at both universities and he is a past president of the ASHRAE Student branch at National University of Singapore.
