Editor of the Indoor Air journal - William Nazaroff

William W Nazaroff is the Daniel Tellep Distinguished Professor and Vice-Chair for Academic Affairs in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of California, Berkeley. He joined the faculty there in 1989 after receiving his education in Physics (BA, UC Berkeley, 1978), Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (MEng, UC Berkeley, 1980), and Environmental Engineering Science (PhD, Caltech, 1989). Bill's research group focuses on the physical science and engineering aspects of air pollutants in indoor environments. Presently, he serves as Vice-President Elect of the American Association for Aerosol Research (AAAR), as co-editor of Indoor Air, and as Vice President of the Academy of Fellows of ISIAQ. Bill is author or coauthor of about 120 research articles published in archival journals and coauthor of the textbook, Environmental Engineering Science (Wiley, 2001). In 2009, he was elected as a fellow in AAAR. In 2010, he was appointed to the California Environmental Protection Agency's Scientific Review Panel on Toxic Air Contaminants. He was also appointed in 2010 to serve on a committee of the Institute of Medicine of the US National Academies on "The Effect of Climate Change on Indoor Air Quality and Public Health."
